Stepfather suspected of attack as two year old boy must wear double leg plaster for 3 months

A heart wrenching post on the popular site of Mem Pho Dam showed a 2 year old boy admitted to hospital with a fracture of his left thigh bone.

The child had to be immobilized by having both legs pinned and put in plaster.

The boy also had injuries and bruising to his head and temple.

The 20 year old mother from Singburi told Thai Rath she had been living with her new husband for two months.

There were frequent arguments and she had been repeatedly assaulted. Two days ago she noticed swelling on her boy's leg and confronted the stepfather who played dumb saying he had no idea about it.

A hospital X-ray showed the break. He is recovering in Chainat Narenthorn Hospital where doctors said he would have to wear the plaster and splint for three months.

He may be able to go home earlier when his condition stabilizes.

Thai Rath promised updates on the story shortly with the police set to announce action in the case Wednesday.

A post on Mem Pho Dam called for retribution against the man allegedly responsible.

None of the people in the story were named.

I do not at all think this man was playing. He´s just as dumb and evil as they come.

Sick b******!

Hope the police haul his @ss in for some serious questioning.

Today it's a fractured tigh bone, tomorrow it'll be a fractured skull or a broken neck.

The child needs help.

20yrs.old and already on her second husband, she had been abused allegedly before but nobody came to her aid.

as for the child he needs to go to a loving family,or even an orphanage ,I would love to help the boy,but he must never go back to that which olmost killed him.

Break stepfather legs then in jail forever!

What pisses me off is the police reactions to these all too frequent stories.

"the police set to announce action in the case Wednesday. "  I mean, <deleted>?!!!

Should they not have immediately gone and hauled the b*stard in?

It truly seems that the RTP only ever seem to act when a story has made the news.  they always seem to be catching up and on the defensive for not having done their jobs in the first place.

IMO, the greatest example of lese majeste is allowing these brown turds to call themselves the Royal Thai Police.

I'm sure the little boy will be looking forward to that.

With an untreated major bone break of that severity... in that location... the kids lucky to be alive

i can’t imagine what was going thru the guys brainbox.... but I know what should be going thru it ASAP.

Why we see faces of indian guys published who been robbed by ladyboys but this piece of child molester garbage face remains hidden?

Name and shame them put them on national tv each guy that attacks kids or women.

I think your answer is in the headline, the word suspected was used, not proven.

Because Thais are always protected and never see the full force of the law. The Thai justice system.remains unreformed. Even after 4 long year. Nothing has been accomplished. That's why it's important that the 39 year old from Summitt gets the chair come elections. The country is in trouble obviously.
