Visa run to Malaysia

Featured Replies

I'm thinking of doing my next 90 day visa run(non imm O) to Padang Besar Malaysia. Can you just do a turn around or spend a night in Malaysia Don't mind spending a night somewhere nearby, up to an hour away anyway. Any recommendations for a night there.

Kaki Bukit is a scenic area but I've never found anywhere good to stay. There are usually homestays everywhere nowadays. You can drive back to Thailand near there. Otherwise Kangar is a friendly town. Everything there is either a homestay or a motel. Look for a new one coz they get run down quickly.
