Video: Dog Day afternoon violence in Family Friendly Pattaya

Two videos uploaded to Facebook showed some serious loss of temper in the heat of a Pattaya afternoon.

The clips featured a swarthy man with a hammer threatening what appears to be a female motorcycle taxi driver.

She seems rather unfazed but in the second clip things have taken a turn for the worse and her mates are now seeking some vengeance against hammer man.

Some in the crowd say it serves him right for hitting a vehicle and trying to flee.

But flee is what he does shortly thereafter - along with his long hammer.

The footage was posted on the page of Arissa Promson.

Reporting on the incident - that appears to have happened outside The Avenue on Pattaya 2 Road - 77Jowo said it was not known yet if any charges have been made.

Hmmm..... Good idea to replace my machete with a hammer which I keep under the seat of my bike.

So Pattaya police don't work after dark; don't work if it's too hot; don't work if there's no money in it.  They probably do a two hour day.

Every morning i turn on to TVF with my popcorn. No need to go to the cinema. New movie everyday in Thailand

Taxi lady seemed to be prolonging the argument. Didn’t seem to want to let it go. IMO and observation.

They must be moonlighting, then!

Looked to me like she was just standing her ground.  Good for her!  Whereas her "friends" had to wait until there were three of them before intervening.

Typically a Thai coward!

So.........
