Thursday evening, we just flew in from Singapore, with a 4:55 PM arrival time, on Air Asia. We circled BKK for a time, Then we diverted to Budapol, near Chon Buri, where we sat on the tarmack, with the plane door open for over an hour. Then airborne again, and landed at Suvarnabhumi.

We were told, that one of the runways at Suvarnbhumi was closed! Has anyone heard why they closed a runway today?

Of course, they did not tell us why we deverted, until after we were on the ground, Some wild speculation going on there! TIT. Oh yes " Sorry for the incovenience"

And I did not hear anything, as to why the runway was closed, while we were at Suvarnbhumi. TIT again.
