guardian
Is there any free software available which would be able to identify and tell me what interface type are the hard drives installed in my computer? I use "are" as I have 2 internal HDD, 1 external firewire connected HDD and 1 external USB HDD. My USB HDD uses a notebook hard drive. But I'm not sure of the interface types of my internal and firewire external HDDs.
astral
SiSandra will tell you everything!! Unless it is very new, the notebook disk will be IDE.
cdnvic
Quite often it will show the info on-screen during bootup. If not, look it up in your Control Panel/System/Hardware/Device Manager Edited January 26, 2007 by cdnvic
