I will need to go Immigration for my annual extention of stay stamp... On that date my passport will have an expiration date in 10 months... Will they give me a 1 year extension of stay? Or should I get a new passport before I go for the extension?

They will do the extension but it will only be valid to the date your passport expires.

Best to get a new passport before applying for the extension.

If I renew my passport before the extension date  should I go to Immigration before the extension renewal  and ask them to move the previous extention into the new passport or can I just give them the old and new passports when I do the 1 year extension renewal?

If you got the new passport shortly before your extension is due you could wait until you apply for the extension.
