Hello:  Am new to the forum and have a question.  I have a Non Immigrant B visa and work permit (am currently teaching in Thailand).  Expires Sept 30th.  I am considering ending my employment as of May.  Want to return in August for a trip and leave Sept. 30.  Will I be able to enter using the current visa or do I need to get a tourist visa?  Appreciate any insight.

If you actually had a 90 day entry from a non-b visa issued by an embassy or consulate it would remain valid.

But I think you have a extension of stay issued by immigration that ends on the day your job ends.

You will have to leave the country to get a tourist visa.
