Kindergarteners in Krabi province participate in a Feb. 17 mock class election to learn about democracy and voting. A turnout of 96 percent was reported.

 

BANGKOK — If polls open in February – five years after the last election – it will be the first chance to cast a ballot for millions of new voters.

 

And while new players such as the Future Forward Party believe they are best positioned to win those young, first-time voters, the established Democrat and Pheu Thai parties say they will also court the demographic and shouldn’t be counted out.

Mock voters in a mock election in a mock democracy......:coffee1:

Only 96%....Clearly not a Nida poll...then the turnout would have been 105%

millions that realize it does not matter?

Notice how the article begins with the key words: 'IF polls open in February ...'

 

It is still far from certain that there will be any 'election' in February. In fact, I think many of us would like to place a neat little bet on there NOT being any election next February. Something will magically intervene to stop it  (the junta have got no end of delay-devices up their sleeve) ...

Forget about it. If they can't vote from their cell phones then they can't be bothered.
