Experimental Drug for cancer treatment using mRNA technology

Featured Replies

Hoping that the trials on this are successful in order to treat the deadful scourge of cancer and hopefully various versions of it in years to come..........(This from the New Zealand Herald).

"A therapy using the same mRNA technology in coronavirus vaccines showed positive results in a trial for skin cancer patients, drugmakers Moderna and Merck said, and versions of the treatment are already being studied in other cancers.

An experimental drug that uses messenger RNA to deliver a vaccine customised to a patient’s tumours effectively prevented skin cancer recurrence in a large-scale clinical trial, according to new results announced by drugmakers on Wednesday (Thursday NZT).

Researchers have explored the use of mRNA drugs – the same technology behind the leading coronavirus vaccines that helped end the pandemic – to treat cancer for years, but this one is the first to clear a Phase 3 trial, according to Moderna and Merck".

Hoping that they don't try another cover up.
