NCPO ensures fairness, equality for all political parties: Army chief

BANGKOK, 11 April 2018 (NNT) – The National Council for Peace and Order (NCPO) has reassured all political parties and groups will be given equality and fairness.

NCPO secretary-general/army chief Gen Chalermchai Sittisart said that recent movements of political parties were positive thoughts which, he said, were expressed to permissible extent, following the reconfirmation and registration of political parties.

He said the permission for meetings by political groups and parties will be considered in accordance with the Election Commission's procedures, which will be based on fairness and equality.

The NCPO secretary-general declined to comment on the establishment of a political party allegedly run by the military, and on the postponement of the prime minister's planned meeting with political party leaders. He added that retired military officers can lawfully set up a new party or join an existing one.

Sums it up nicely....

NCPO.....Army chief General is giving his blessing to political parties (conditions apply...of course)

The guys in green are really believing, that they are the masters of universe...

Sadly Thaitanic is heading full steam towards disaster.....Thai people are gullible and patient...but one day they will say enough is enough and hit the streets...Which ironically will be an excuse for yet another coup.

'You have been warned...'

Trust me.  I am with the government and I wear a green uniform.  We have made virtually no improvements since taking control of the country, but you should trust us anyway.

Thailand, fairness, equality

:cheesy::cheesy::cheesy: Yeah right! Is that the same fairness and equality as when I being told that I have to pay 10 times the amount to enter a national park compared to my Thai children?

It is not for the military to decide political equality and fairness.

While the military rarely recognizes its existence except when it constantly violates or abolishes it, the "People's" Constitution provides such right.

The Prayut regime needs to downgrade itself to a caretaker government consistent with the constitution, terminate the Political Act and allow full campaigning for a February 2019 election.
