CRF failed today after 16 months. 4.8V

PCX on original after 4 years

It's a crap shoot - heights of the tides, phases of the moon, alignment of the planets ...

PS - the CRF spent my work time on a CTEK. PCX just sits there

Maybe check the recharge voltage that's being churned out to the battery.

Yeah for sure never had a problem with Japanese spec Yuasa bike batteries here.

Maybe it was a copy.

One I got today is Yamaha badged GS - GTZ8V G for GS  Yuasa YTZ8V Y for Yuasa

In case you can not find the correct number. Both identical - my guess ...

Make Yuasa one day, GS the next. Even the charging stickers are the same
