Can anyone advise me whether it's possible to extend a single entry Non O visa for 30 days for THB1,900?

I've told someone that it is possible, but I would like confirmation of that as they have to book their tickets. Thanks.

nope .. not possible under standard circumstances

Ok thanks folks.

I really thought that you could extend a Non O (single entry) by 30 days for 1,900THB. That would have given the 4 months the person was looking for. She's applying for retirement, BTW, but dosn't want it now. She does have the age and financial requirements to do so though.

The other possibilies are endless, but as above for some reason.

Depending on the reason, it is possible to get a 60-day extension of stay. See paragraph 7.23 of the National Police Order 606/2006:

7.23 In case of entering for visiting a Thai wife / husband or child. The permission shall be granted only one time with the granted period not exceeding 60 days.

The single biggest problem in communication is the illusion that it has taken place
