I mirror your sentiments and just now wonder how long President Bush will live after the passing of his nearly lifelong companion.

I can't help but imagine another Carrie Fisher / Debbie Reynolds scenario in the making.   I hope I'm wrong.

The funeral is on television (right now).   George Sr., seems to be holding up pretty well.   He is surrounded by a lot of family and friends.   Hopefully, the support around him will keep him going as long as nature permits.

  • I have nothing good to say about any Bush family member or their enablers. George Herbert Walker Bush was a war criminal. His wife was the enabler of a war criminal. The whole family has been involved

  • RIP, Mrs Bush.

  • An extremely likeable First Lady.   RIP.

It appears she lived a good and certainly long life. Now it appears she had a good death surrounded by loving family. Rich or poor, famous or unknown, what more can anyone ask for?

Ah, that Trump doesn't attend your funeral.
