Sammartino, who was known as "The Living Legend" in his time, fled Italy as a child after World War II, later settling in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Yeah, Bobo Brazil, Argentina Appolo, Bruno, all wrestled in The Boston Gardens back in late fifties, early sixties........and some small guy "The Flying............??"
April 19, 20188 yr 1950s wrestling! Haven't heard that name in 50+ years. Trying to remember other names. Skull Murphy, totally bald (and totally unusual at the time), famous for attacking with his head. Bruno always played the 'gentleman,' the good guy who wins in the end.
