All I have done is recount other peoples statements, when have I expressed an opinion?

I visit the prisons regularly and I have never in 10 years heard of anyone getting raped. There are plenty of obliging lady boys in there, so no need. While I agree conditions are squalid, the suggest

Yes, I read it, however you appear to have misunderstood it, it was not his child, he was paid to kidnap the kid by the father.  And her valid grievance was what got him 30 days in the Thai jail, you

This story makes me really angry. I have spent years arguing with the prison authorities to get conditions improved, allow medications and the like in, and while it has been a tough battle, I have mad

We have a couple of TV posters here saying that there was no rape in the prison, or at least the cell, they were in.

I also have a couple of blogs saying that there were numerous rapes in their prison.

I also have the peer reviewed paper by MSF in which they comment on rape being an issue in Thai prisons.

I also have the UN paper stating that rape is a leading cause of HIV in Thai prisons.

If you are to take peoples testimonies on TV as fact then why not the blogs and why not peer reviewed papers?

"For 40 days and 40 nights, Sean Felton fought off perverts and killers in the soiled,"

Lol - that is soooo dramatic. As if he was cornered for 40 days fighting people off.

I won't be buying the book.

Dont believe there would be a prison anywhere in the world where the threat of rape would not be everpresent.

I'm sure s e Asian and south american jails are horrific but equally jails in the uk and usa must be very daunting. Food and beds may be better but the inmates will be cut from the same cloth.
