I found it to be an excellent source, particularly for budget places. Maybe everyone but me already knew about it but just in case you didn't, happy traveling in LOS.

somehow I have failed to find anything cheap in bangkok there - online rates will be always higher (commision for the agent) than what you can find just walking from one place to another in an area you want to be.
