I receive dividends from a Thai company. About 450,000 Bahts per year. It is my only income.
I am a registered taxpayper in Thailand and the company withholds 45,000 Bahts (10%) from that amount.

I think I can get a refund because 45,000 Bahts is more than what I should pay for an 450,000 Baht income taking into consideration deductions and allowances.
Does anybody have experience on how to compute my taxes and how to claim a refund?

Thanks in advance

2.3 Tax Credit for dividends
Any taxpayer who domiciles in Thailand and receives dividends from a juristic company or partnership incorporated in Thailand is entitled to a tax credit of 3/7 of the amount of dividends received. In computing assessable income, taxpayer shall gross up his dividends by the amount of the tax credit received. The amount of tax credit is creditable against his tax liability.

You will have to file a tax return to get a refund. More info is on the same webpage.

Thanks for your answer. Do you think I am allowed to invest in RMF/LTF (15% each) to reduce my taxes and get a better refund?
