BURIRAM, 9th May 2018 (NNT) – The Prime Minister has spoken to reporters following the Cabinet retreat to the lower northeastern region, saying that the visit was not in preparation for the coming general election but was part of his ongoing mission to meet with citizens across the nation.

Prime Minister Gen Prayut Chan-ocha began his visit to the lower northeast by chairing a Lower Northeastern Region 1 Economic and Social Development meeting, at Rajabhat Buriram University in Buriram province.

The PM donned locally made fabric for the meeting and afterwards viewed an exhibition at the university on local OTOP products to be sold on flights, along with traditional goods and local traditional performances.

Gen Prayut remarked before chairing the meeting that all of his regional visits were based on the government’s desire to develop the nation’s provinces and that the governors of provinces he is yet to travel to, have meantime been invited to meet with him to present their development plans.

After the third Cabinet retreat of the year, the Prime Minister again reiterated that there was no political agenda behind the government’s travels, noting administrators were only meeting with groups presented by the province and not any individual politicians.

Not everyone is as stupid as you, Sir.

Every retreat should be commemorated by erecting a victory monument in keeping with the greatest of military traditions.

hahahahahahaha nice one.

This is the making for a new song !

He speaks of his 'mission to meet with citizens across the nation'. What balderdash, lies and hypocrisy!

Yes, you too can meet and speak with Prayut - but if you DARE say a single syllable that he disapproves of (like reminding him that he promised the U.S. President and thus the whole world) that there would be an election THIS November - then it's down to Attitude Adjustment you go and who knows what other trouble you will face from his minions further down the line.

Meet and greet the 'P.M.' - as long as you kiss his backside and agree with his every word. It's called Thai democracy - didn't you know?!

He has to do that a lot, so he himself believes what he is saying.

Once upon a time a Mr Prayuth promised there would be no coup.

That's like him saying he has sex with his wife every week because he is a champion and she loves him. He has officially become the biggest liar in the country. He is actually a huge national security issue. How can the world take him serious. It is really small p who is the behind the scenes big P. Heard this from a military guy.

So its not in preparation for the election?  Then it must be meeting and sucking up to the people before the election.  Why aren't the other political parties allowed to tour the country and speak to the people.

Buck Pinocchio at it again lol .

He lied about a coup, lied about no taxi mafia, lied about lottery ticket prices, lied about the park, lied about assets & wealth .

Don't think he going get much voting support in Buriram, although with the way they fixed the constitution I don't think he'll need the votes !
