Change of Address at new province.

Thank you all for a great forum. I hope someone here can sort me out again.

I recently moved to Bangkok from Samui.  

Do i need to file change of address before filing 90 day report?

Or can i file the address change along with 90 day report.

What are the required documents?

You should do the the change of address as soon as possible. You will need proof of residence such as a rental agreement with copies of the owner house book and ID card attached. The may even want a Google map showing where your residence is located (Samui requirement).

Not sure how strict Samui immigration is about a TM30 form being submitted by your landlord. Some offices will fine you if it has not been done within 24 hours of arriving at the new residence.

Ubonjoe, Thanks for reply, but I moved to Bangkok. 

I'm staying in a monthly service apt.

I will do my 90 day report in Bangkok, but do i need to file address change immediately?   Or can it be done along with next 90 day report which is soon.

Sorry Not sure how I got it reversed.

In Bangkok it will be a different story. You can wait until your 90 day report is due. They are not as strict as some offices are.

Do you think a rent payment receipt is enough or do I need to show contract etc?

Since it is a service apartment a rental receipt showing the address should be enough.
