To apply for a non immigrant visa (category O) there is a requirement to prove the funds came from abroad.

For an extension of stay application is no requirement for it.

She was obviously a jealous sl*t that another Thai girl had found a farang and not her, perhaps....very often the female officers have been reported more picky then their male counter parts.....

Or maybe she was looking for a bribe or pushing you to use an agent who obviously makes things smoother with bribing the whole gang from behind.....and maye you must be looking rich and well off... immigration police in Thailand is just a big racket and I'm happy for those who manage to glide on the wave with no hassles.
