The best friend of the Swiss father whose son died after a balcony fall in Bangkok has claimed that donations intended to help the surviving children from the tragedy have ended up being spent on the mother and grandparents.

A KLM Boeing 777 has now landed safely in KL following an 18 hour lay-over in Phuket after a ‘precautionary landing’ forced on the pilot after a smartphone over-heated, emitting smoke in the passenger cabin.

Bangkok lane-change crackdown nets 50,000 offenders in two days

In the first two days following a strict ban on the practice, Bangkok traffic police issued more than 50,000 tickets to motorists at 15 flyovers and underpasses for illegally changing lanes to overtake other vehicles.

Man walks in front of train in apparent suicide at Korat station

LONDON (Reuters) - One of the main Brexit campaign groups in Britain's 2016 EU referendum was fined 70,000 pounds ($95,000) on Friday for incorrectly reporting what it spent and exceeding a limit on expenditure, the Electoral Commission said.

Six arrested as 10 million meth pills, 398 kg of ‘ice’ seized in Bangkok

Bangkok police have arrested six suspects and seized a large drug haul of 10 million made-in-Myanmar methamphetamine pills and 398 kilograms of crystal meth or “ice”. A haul that size led the national police chief, Pol General Chakthip Chaijinda, to hold a press conference on Friday at the Royal Thai Police headquarters to announce the seizure.

BMA to rush study to build erosion bank along Bang Khunthien coast
