Hi everybody,

 

searching and hoping to find this during my 3 weeks of traveling in the north of Thailand i still wasnt able to find what i am looking for.

 

I'm talking about Maa Kratoop Rong or ม้ากระทืบโรง. And not the bottles you can buy in the 7-11.  Because this seems not to be the same stuff.

 

I did read about it already some years ago but not tasted it.

 

This year i came close when a guy in the Tesco express almost told me. He was about to tell me , then i saw the doubt in his eyes and then he suddenly changed his answer in a head shaking no.

 

So me and my Thai wife asked in Chiang Mai, Mae Sariang , Mae Hong Son and now wanna find it during my last two days in the area of Chiang Rai.

 

It would be nice to find some bottles to bring jome for me and my best friend.

It sounds like YA Dong. That should be easy to buy but you will need to ask for it from a market seller. I'm not certain if it is ya dong that you can take it with you or be found with it on your person.  It's not made by thaibev
