PHUKET:-- An official from Phuket International Airport today confirmed that air-conditioning units will be rented temporarily at a cost of B460,000 as a temporary solution to the soaring temperatures in the Domestic Terminal.

 

The official also confirmed that the airport is currently in the process of purchasing a new Air Handling Unit (AHU) for the terminal at a cost of B24 million.

 

However, the officials comments come after Phuket International Airport General Manager Petch Chancharoen on April 1 stating that “everything is fine” at the facility and that the air conditioning had been fixed.
