When I allready a customer with a thai bank acount , Would it possible on scb or kasikorn , my wife have babgkok bank to change the acount type into another currency ? If possible how high are the transfer fees in procent of the total amount ? I thinking about to open a acount in Japanese yen!

You would have to open a separate Foreign Currency Account which is not possible at all branches - normally you have to go to a main branch in the town.

Normally you need to prove source of funds from abroad so not sure you can just transfer current baht into yen without some big costs.
