These so-called Monks (and I wonder why sometimes they become Monks) are treated by Thais with great respect. Thai people look up to these Monks and what do the Monks do? They take advantage of that. They get free food, lots of money, and never work. You see them down at places buying the latest phones using poor Thais money. I consider myself a good person and not religious but keep my life to a good standard but these so-called Monks are just a bloody disgrace. Not all mind you but many are and you hear stories of them watching porn on buses, stealing money, having drug parties Just bloody unbelievable.

 

By the way how many Monks does Thailand have? Seems to be heaps. Might have to make it a career at the school. Kids are handed a sheet with careers on them and one of those careers should be a Monk Its a great job

Monk or Policeman, probably as many Policeman as  monks

Simple solution, don't give anything to fat monks, let them get off their a rse and do something useful for a change 

Does everyone have to be the same? Aren't fat people allowed in today's society?
- Go on a diet.
- Stop smoking.
- Stop drinking.
- Be politically correct in what you say.
- blah, blah, blah
We're all going to die one day. Leave us alone to die in peace. If a fat man wants to eat himself into having a heart attack, let him. If a smoker wants to smoke himself to death, let him, etc...
To the do gooders out there. Mind your own business. Get on with your own lives and leave us lot alone. The only thing we're harming is are own health.

7 billion people are on this Earth now. Food shortages, water shortages, lack of resources, let some of us die happy. Why are you trying to make us healthy? Bloody do gooders are creating Armegeddon, just wait 50 years and they'll be 14 billion humans on the Earth. Sheesh!

Perverse.

He needs a newer larger jet for two reasons.  One is so he can carry more Thai monks back and preach at them. Secondly, the new jet will run on snake oil, which will drastically reduce fuel costs.

The writer of this headline need to improve his or her writing and manners. You don't 'feed' junk to monks. You don't even 'feed' dog food to dogs. You feed dogs. You feed fish and other animals. 

You offer food or alms to monks.
