 Everyone,

I flew in to Thailand with a visa exemption on May 18 it expires on June 16.  It is my understanding that it can be extended for another 30 days.

What is the process and the cost of doing this?  When should it be done?

If you have to go to immigration by the old airport is there a bus that goes out that way.

Thanks

You can extend your 30 day visa exempt entry for 30 days at a immigration office for a fee of 1900 baht.

You will need a completed TM7 application form with a 4 X 6 photo attached. Copies of your passport photo page, entry stamp and TM6 departure card.

I am guessing you are in Bangkok. You will apply for the extension at the Chaeng Wattana immigration office.

Map and info on how to get there is here. http://bangkok.immigration.go.th/en/location1.html
