hi has anyone seen potato starch here in pattaya? I am making some beef salami and it calls for it

A lot of places have it (along with corn flour, rice flour, etc.). Try Makro, Foodmart or Friendship...

sorry none of the above have checked them all 

I buy mine from Tesco in Bangkok. It's also available on the online shopping site. As Michael says, it's very widely available so you must just be looking in the wrong place.
