What is the time limit on entering Thailand with a Non Ed and B

Featured Replies

Hello,

Just finalising the application forms and all supporting documentation to take to the Thai Consulate in Guangzhou and I have a question that i need help with.

Q. Once the visa is issued in Guangzhou, what is the time limit for the visa holder to enter into Thailand and does it matter if they arrive from a different country?

The scenario is, wife and kids are getting the Ed and B.

We are applying in Guangzhou tomorrow. We have all the paperwork.

However, wife and kids want to fly to the UK for 3 weeks to see family.

So I plan on buying a multi city ticket.

Guangzhou to London - depart 18/06

London to Bangkok - depart 12/07

Bangkok to Guangzhou - depart 01/09

So the date of arrival in Thailand is the 12/July and we are putting the application in on the 4/June.

My visa was issued in Bangkok and it says that it must be used on the date of issueance so I have nothing to reference.

Thanks in advance

Joe

All single entry non immigrant visas are valid for entry to the country for 3 months from the date of issue.

No. You can travel to Thailand from a different country to the one the visa was issued in.
