I have reported lose of my Brit passport to police today. For apply replacement do I need go to Embassy or that Trendy place?

Average time to get the new one is 2 to 3 weeks.

Note in particular the requirement for a completed form LS01 if you haven't yet reported the loss/theft.

 

 

If you needed to travel quickly, say back home to UK at the end of a holiday you can get an ETD at the embassy in a day or two.

They will ask for a police report and maybe details of the flight. On arrival in UK they will keep the ETD so make copies in case required after getting home.

Was at the US embassy recently.

Shocked by how many (claim) loose their passport.

Loose it where?

Multiply that for all countries.

It should be the most important document in your life.

What is the reason and cause of this?
