June 5, 20188 yr Today big "pow wow" with my Doctor. Annual check-up with all the trimmings. He said that my COPD isen't getting better. He diden't like me gainig some weight. He diden't like my lifestyle as a whole. It clearly showed, whatever I enjoyed in life so far, is basically unhealthy. Rats, hellfire and damnation! The ensuing philosophical chit-chat with the Doc brought us both back to the 2 essentials of Life: Is "quality" or "quantity" worth persuing? Quality: "Live life to it's fullest", or Quantity: "Live in Siberia, drink half a bottle of Vodka a day and live to the age of 103?" Finally, the only thing we could agree on, is that "nobody get's out of here alive". I guess that will have to suffice. Further analisys will be stifled by Thai Wife standart comment: "You think too much". Cheers.
June 6, 20188 yr The quality of your life with severe COPD will be quite bad. The choice is nto so much quality vs. quantity as it is "pay later with very bad quality life for doing things you enjoy now".
