Suspected Russian pedophile arrested in Pattaya

 

 

A Russian man has been arrested by Thai Tourist Police on charges related to the possession of child pornography.

 

On Wednesday police raided a property in the Pratumnak Hill area of Pattaya and arrested Alexey Fadeev, 39.

 

During the raid police confiscated a notebook computer that was found to contain indecent images of children.

 

Announcing the arrest, Tourist Police chief Surachet Hakphan said the man had been collecting a large amount of child pornography.

 

Specialist forensic officers are now checking the suspect’s computer to confirm if he created or distributed the material as this would determine if he would face additional charges.

 

Pol Maj-Gen Surachet said the arrest comes as police continue to close in on foreign pedophiles operating in Thailand.

Most people do hate such criminals but the problem is much worse in other countries such as the UK where the authorities failed to prosecute known abusers for 3 decades. Thailand in general  and Pattaya specifically get an unfair amount of press coverage. The baying online mob never seem to put any context or reflection about crime in their own countries or regarding child abuse and it's prevalence in the Middle East, Pakistan and Afghanistan etc. Such stories about Thailand seemed to be seized upon by the Thai haters whose presence seem to increasingly dominate many TV forums smug in their moral outrage.  Personally I suspect their motives. They never have anything positive to say about being here nor provide useful information.

I don't think it's profane in the slightest. And I am not gay, nor do I have any inclinations in that way whatsoever. I live in Laos and am surrounded by ladyboys who bother me not in the least. Friends and family are of that persuasion. It's simply what I think, that's all.

I hope I am dead wrong too. I almost assuredly am. Talk to victims of child abuse, it's something that never leaves, it never dies. It's a scarring for life, despite outward appearances, every victim of child sexual abuse never completely gets over it.

Sorry to hear about the scar you have to bear for the rest of your life. Sounds like it only surfaces sometimes, but the point is that it is always there. It is an odd brutal world we live in. I have sheltered my kids maybe too much even to the point of they were not allowed to walk to the store alone here in fear they would be kidnapped. they are in their middle to later teens now and so far so safe. I don't trust the world and generally don't trust people. Be well!.

You were molested by two men who may have also been homosexual, but unless you have evidence that all homosexuals are paedophile a then you are talking complete rubbish, and have no facts to back up your silly and harmful statement.

What it says is that a previous study showed the general population to be 1:20 gay but in their testing of pedo's with electrodes on their knobs, they found 1:11 of them were aroused by images of men.  You now want to form the conclusion that this is some sort of evidence that gays are more likely to be attracted to children based on the stat from the previous study alone.  There is nothing at all scientific about that and as we now accept that the ratio of homosexual to heterosexual is more like 1:10, the rate they found would imply that the levels of attraction to children are approximately even between straight and gay men.

yes in here there are many people there only comment negative and I will never understand why they live here but I love Thailand and happy pedophiles start getting busted
