Shop around on the different internet sites. You will find MAN-BKK return 3 month for less than 500 GBP for sure. Try: www.netflights.com
January 31, 200719 yr just been checking flights from manchester to bkk for june through to september, crazy prices, £480+132 taxes. i I think you should wait a couple of months before booking, the airlines haven't released the special deals for the second half of the year yet. For departures until 30/06/07 airline-network have MAN - BKK on Qatar airlines for £365 including tax at the moment.
February 1, 200719 yr also check out travelbag uk website.good deals available on emirates recently. 460 quid(incl taxes) return on emirates in march.should be cheaper available later on in the year.
February 1, 200719 yr You don't say whether this price is for direct or with stopover. Either way 600+ GBP is a bit extortionate. Try KLM via Amsterdam, not only are they good on price but their econ seats are at a greater pitch than others. FYI I've always used Trailfinders and found them hard to beat. You can't book on line, this suits me, but you get to go through your itinerary over the phone before you book so can make minor adjustments.

The last 5 bookings I have done with ebookers who have been the cheapest. They supply e tickets where they can at no extra cost and charge only 1.5% extra for credit card payment. Booked yesterday for later this month Man to Bangkok with Etihad £421 including taxes.............well worth a try. Edited February 1, 200719 yr by Pattaya_Fox

I think you will find KLM seats AMS-BK are a standard 31" pitch, same as BA, Lufthansa etc. Not a lot of leg room. I have flown this KLM route many times as I like the convenient schedules and Schipol Airport has to be one of the best. Think Thai and Eva more generous pitch though. One reason seats are more expensive is that Gordon Brown has just whacked on an extra £ 40 tax!
February 2, 200719 yr just been checking flights from manchester to bkk for june through to september, crazy prices, £480+132 taxes. i have never paid this sort of money in my 17 years of visiting thailand this is an exorbitant rip off by the airlines. bearing in mind this is the low season in thailand i think its time for pastures new. Problem with MAN, you only have Emirates, Etihad & Turkish as viable options to BKK (Turkish usually the cheapest) Why not visit dial-a-flight and subsitute MAN for LHR (ok, u hav to travel down there but whats 20 quid on Nat' Xpress?) then u will open up all the airlines and maybe drop on a 350 quider (inc taxes, royal jordanian) like i did quite recently... chok di

I also enquired with Dial a Flight for business class with Qatar via Doha and they quoted me £3324 for two tickets whereas ebookers quoted £2760 for 2 tickets. In the end I decided to try Etihad for the first time as they seemed to have decent reviews.
February 2, 200719 yr In the end I decided to try Etihad for the first time as they seemed to have decent reviews. You'll be happy with Etihad, they now have new planes on the route to Gatwick dunno about Manchester.I agree that ebookers have some of the best prices but airline-network seem to be Qatar airline specialists and are cheap, really cheap. Business class on Qatar MAN- BKK selling at £2398 for 2 tickets depending on dates Edited February 2, 200719 yr by Mahout Angrit
