We live in Australia. I wish to take my 8 yo Thai stepson for holiday to UK and Germany. Will I have problems getting him a visa as he has a different surname from me. I can provide a letter from his school, a letter from his mother giving permission etc.  Am I likely to have problems booking into hotels etc. Anyone been here?
