BANGKOK — An online celeb is being slammed for asking her more than 30,000 Facebook followers to chip in 1 baht to pay for her Mercedes-Benz.

Mocked by netizens for seeking charity to pay for her luxury auto’s payment installments this week, Koraphin “Tubtim” Khrueaphanphudit was forced to apologize after the internet branded her “Beggar of the Year.”

Every month for 6 years no doubt. Even then that's still only just over 2 million Baht, can you get a Merc for that ?

Up yours Peppa back in the trough.

something tells me her driving insurance might cost more than the car.

But - But - But - I'm a Sooperstar........?

Where is the problem? She's got good taste to buy a Benz. Why to blame her. Nobody was forced to pay for her.

No doubt there will be enough gullible morons willing to part with money for a brush with "Stardom"!

It's truly amazing how entitled some people can be. But it's nice to read this story. Reminds me of how grateful I am for my upbringing and how I got so good at hearing no. Makes you become a much more reasonable person.

If people are stupid enough-just ask for more-someone to pay it off

Isn't this just another version of GoFundMe?  At least she's honest about it.  Brazen, but honest.

Yes she looks like trash, should have done without HK holiday

and paid for the Merc,

regards worgeordie

I'd want to test drive her before I contribute a single baht.

Entitlement is the order of the day, brought to you proudly by the millenial generation. There is a remedy, a five hour session of continuous bitchslapping will create some much needed humility. They should have treatment centers for that, I'm sure there would be no lack of volunteers for the job.
