CRUNCHER
My new passport is due to arrive soon. I know about getting visa and subsequent extensions transferred to the new passport, but what about the re-entry permit? Do I need to get a new one or can that be transferred as well. I forget what happened 10 years ago.
elviajero
You can get the re-entry permit transferred too, but local offices won’t always transfer permits they didn’t issue. If for any reason you can’t get it transferred you can still use it by showing both passports when you re-enter.
