Chinese gang preying on plane passengers busted

An airborne Chinese gang stealing passengers’ baggages on a plane was smashed by Thai police as the gang was about to leave a Bangkok Airways flight at Suvarnabhumi International Airport last night.

 

The arrest of two Chinese on the plane and another accomplice at the airport came after Bangkok Airways officials alerted airport police of burglaries on its Flight PG930 parking at the airport’s bus gate of the main terminal building.

 

The officials said two passengers, a Taiwanese Mr Keng Hao Hsu, and a Chinese Mr Tian Run Jing, informed cabin crews that their money were stolen from the baggage they put on the overhead cabin.

you mean for the thieves?

Can never figure out why people put money in overhead lockers; keep it on your person !

If it has to be on the overhead locker, for god's sake, use a cabin format suitcase and KEEP IT LOCKED !!

Cannot, the locked suitcase already contains their common sense.

Still do, in a way. Put my belt through a loop on passport holder, put big bills in there with reserve credit cards, and tuck it in. Just be careful you don't leave it on the floor when yanking your belt to get through security!

Good crew! Many crew staff prefer to relax and read something instead off taking care of passengers and their belongings. Even if you keep your money with you there are different things which you cannot put into your pocket. So take a small plastic bag with all that can be sold easily and keep it under your seat.

Heh heh! and then one reaches down in the dim light, for a barf bag ?
