fin5prtw
My friend is currently travelling in Thailand and asked me some visa/extension questions, and I'm not terribly clued up on tourist visas etc these days. My friend is from the UK. She entered Thailand on a 30 day exemption stamp. She would like to extend this, if she goes to immigration and pays 1,900 baht will she be able to get a 30 day extension? What documents would she need? Many thanks
Tanoshi
Passport. Copy of passport photo page. Copy of entry stamp. Copy of TM6 Completed TM7 + the 1,900 baht fee. They may want some form of proof of address.

Peterw42
Depending on location, there may be some TM30 problems, where friend is staying has not reported her to immigration (24 hrs after arrival), immigration want to chase up the hotel or friend etc. worst case in some offices is a fine to the person wanting the extension.
