Every single thing that Terminator 6 is erasing from the franchise

"It can't be bargained with. It can't be reasoned with. It doesn't feel pity, or remorse, or fear."

 

At one point, featuring one of the most convoluted, tangled timelines of cinema history, that statement could have described the Terminator movies. They certainly haven't taken fans feelings into consideration since T3 saw those deadly machines rise.

 

"And it absolutely will not stop, ever, until you are dead." Let's face it, this franchise will outlive us all, as the latest movie (simply called Terminator and out in 2019) takes us back to James Cameron's vision and erases a whole bunch of stuff in the process.

Push in a few hot scenes of Sarah O'Connor nude, and I may even buy the DVD  ?

Given that the series had become barking, I doubt anyone will care, one way or another. If it's a good movie in it's own right, it'll do well.

 

However, filmdom is full of great movies that have been mangled by later releases, such as the last Star War movie where Luke can do things that were never even possible in the S W universe before. ( <deleted> movie as well ). Also, the abominable later Blade Runner movie.

The good news is : there's another Terminator movie coming in 2019 !

Loved the new Blade Runner movie on my second watch. The original Blade Runner movie as I recall needed a few more watches aswell to really appreciate, probably the reason why it flopped at the cinemas. 

 

Agree with the the other remakes being dire except maybe Rogue One...they should really leave the Terminator franchise alone for a longer while....if only to get over the recent Terminator movies.
