I've been to Thailand many times and genuinely like the place. It's a great base location to stay whilst exploring other parts of South East Asia, and it works out well for me personally as far as taxation is concerned. Generally nice people, great shopping and entertainment, relaxing environment. All good.

 

However, I have a confession to make ... I don't find Thai girls attractive. Give me a voluptuous olive skinned southern European or a blue eyed blonde Scandinavian girl any day. I prefer a western look.

 

Posters on here go on and on about how beautiful Thai girls are. Am I the only one who thinks there is nothing special about them?

Thai girls can be sweeter, more feminine and slimmer than their Western sisters but as for attractiveness, there are beautiful women in every country.  Genuinely wealthy Thai women - the types you see in Paragon and Emquartier - can be very attractive and beautifully dressed and made up, but then that's the same in most countries, is it not?

 

I think the big thing with Thai women is that they are very, very, very, very, very easy to meet.  Even if a foreign bloke has nothing going for him (no money, no game, no looks and no future), he can still find plenty of Thai women who will give him a chance.  That can cause some to say that Thai women are special, when perhaps what they mean is that Thai women give them a chance when women from their homeland do not.

You'll find the city girls prettier than their up country counterpart, city girls who frequented places of entertainment are better groomed and up to date on fashion while those of the rest of the country are more of the a la natural like no makeup or fancy clothing, but again, depends on one taste in women...

I like Thai women, ( Asian women in general ), but I prefer them natural;

sophisticated, I don't like  , I live in up country and don't like fashion

Ugly guys with not a lot of money have a better chance here to score outside their league. The rest is just fairy tales. Beauty is conservatively spread around. If you like petite brunettes you will find Thailand has more than a few.

For overall quality compatibility, no race of women can compare. 

i was initially thrilled when i saw black hair,

but once that settled down, i think the swedish girls

ultimately has a better facial bone structure, more photogenic.

thai girls still have longer hair thank goodness,

not that any of it actually matter any longer

I come from the U.K. Thai women are stunning.

Northern Vietnamese women in average are the most attractive to me.
