PATTAYA:--Condominium owners near Banglamung Beach are complaining the clam diggers are causing noise and parking problems.

Deputy District Chief Litapope Penchan and Councilman Sretsak Faklit met June 23 with residents and business owners to discuss the ongoing problems with parking and litter.

Phutiya Sakloh, general manager of the Paradise Condominium, said they, the Sea Breeze Community and Nadalay Condominium all were upset with the situation, which Banglamung has responded to in recent weeks following rafts of complaints.

He said parking on both sides of Banglamung Soi 16 has caused massive congestion on holidays and weekends and the entire area is covered in plastic, bottles and other waste.

Sretsak had district enforcement officers erect barriers to prevent parking in prohibited areas and tell clam diggers to park farther from the beach and walk to find their bounty.
