Jimmy Kimmel dragged guest Andy Dick off show after he groped Ivanka Trump

Footage of Jimmy Kimmel dragging US comedian Andy Dick off his chat show after the guest groped President Donald Trump's daughter Ivanka Trump has resurfaced after the controversial comic bragged about the incident on Instagram.

 

Andy Dick, 52, who appeared in Sense8 and Zoolander 2, is set to be charged with misdemeanour sexual battery and battery charges after allegedly groping a woman on April 5.

 

During his appearance on the US chat show in 2007, Dick says: "You don't play up the glitter on your legs?", before he begins to stroke Ivanka's legs.

 

She soon she slaps his hand, then Jimmy adds: "Andy, please don't touch Ivanka."

Didn't see the video, but explain to me how this is more offensive than what Trump himself is accused of, plus his comments in the EHollywood video.

Sexual battery is defined as an unwanted form of contact with an intimate part of the body that is made for purposes of sexual arousal, sexual gratification or sexual abuse.  Is the knee an intimate part of the body?  Did he stroke her knee for purposes of sexual arousal or gratification?  If she wants to claim that she was touched in an intimate area then she also has to accept that she went on TV with her intimate parts on full display.

 

Battery is defined as the use of force against another, resulting in harmful or offensive contact, including sexual contact.  He took a while to take his hand off, she had to physically push his hand away from her, this charge looks to be correct, simple battery is a misdemeanour carrying a maximum $1000 fine.

My daughter sat on Santa's knee longer than he wanted and he had to forcefully set her down. Is she in danger of being charged with battery?
