onesie
Hi all, Thanks for taking the time to read. My wife and I (UK, lived here for 10+ years) are looking to take a couple of weeks holiday over in the USA this year. Just wanted to ask the members advice on tourist visas for the missus. Wife owns property, land, cars and a business here. We have a couple of young kids who will be looked after by their grandparents while we are away. What I would like to know is if theres anything in the visa process we need to look out for. We've been back to the UK yearly for the last 7 years (wife currently has a 5-year Multiple for the UK). As a side note how was your experience, if applicable, to the LA Thai Consulate. I may as well get a new 1-year multiple when we're over there. Cheers BTW its coming home!! macahoom
Based on your wife's (and your) circumstances and her visa history, I would say her application will be a formality. If she's never applied before, I think you'll find the process a right pain in the ass.
BobbyL
Very simple for the tourist visa. It was by far the easiest one she applied for over the years. She got given a multiple entry visa valid for 10 years.
theoldgit
Post giving confusing information removed, the OP is asking about a visa for the US for his Thai wife, not a visa for Thailand from the US.
onesie
Thanks for the reply guys. All went easier than expected, at the interview didn't request anything to prove her case and waiting for her passport to be delivered.
