Spidey
Recently moved to a new house in Pattaya and had an electrician recommended to me. Re wired the loft (not the drops to the sockets) fitted new CU and asked him to replace the Safe-T-Cut with an RCBO mounted in the CU. On completion, the RCBO continuously tripped and the electrician removed the RCBO, told me it was faulty and promptly disappeared! Got my builder to take a look as he claims to be a competent electrician but he was baffled. Really need the services of a good electrician, based in or near Pattaya, who can fault find/repair the system for me. Recommendations please. Crossy
Can't help with a local sparks, but from what you describe I'll bet it's a simple wiring error, particularly if it worked OK with the Safe-T-Cut (and it wasn't switched to "direct"). Can you post a photo of the CU with the lid off?
