Non-O Multiple Visa – 7 day extension@Immigration

Featured Replies

Quick question for you all.

I’m on my Non-O multiple and I’m heading back to the UK on the 26th, my next exit is however due on the 19th. I’ve been to immigrantion with the Mrs before to get a 60 day extension extension but shes at away with work all next week so I’ll need to get a 7 day one to tide me over.

What do I need for this? I’ve never done a 7day extension before.

Just my passport and/or photocopies or do I need other docs?

And will I be sent to the Non-O queue?

Anyone shed any light on this, it would be appreciated.

There is no such extension - that 7 days is permitted time to depart on a refused extension of stay request.  Although it is an option perhaps better to apply for 60 day extension this week while wife is available?  For best advise best to advise what immigration office you use.

Hi, thanks for the reply.

I use Chaengwattana. She's actually away from tonight. I was hoping to do this type of extension/refusal of extension, instead of having to do a border run.

Number of options:

1. Make an application for a 60 day extension today before the wife goes away.

2. Apply without the wife, in which case they may grant the 60 day extension (has been known), OR they give you a 7 day extension to leave the Country, OR they insist you do a border run as you have a ME Visa.

3. Do a border run to get another 90 days.

4. Go into overstay and pay the fine when leaving (not recommended).
