webfact Posted July 11, 2018 Share Posted July 11, 2018 PM Prayut denies any order to woo politicians to new party FILE photo BANGKOK, 11th July 2018 (NNT) - The Prime Minister has denied claims that he has ordered efforts to encourage politicians to join a new political party ahead of the general election. Prime Minister and chief of the National Council for Peace and Order Gen. Prayut Chan-o-cha, said on Tuesday that he has been working to full capacity without any intention of remaining in power or protecting any personal interest. Gen. Prayut stated that he would like everyone to work together to ready the country for any possible changes in the future. In addition, he asked everyone to focus on the Thai identity that includes reconciliation, which has suffered setbacks in recent years and suggested everyone think about what could be responsible for its absence. The PM also confirmed that the country’s justice system will remain intact and respectable as there is no ill attempt to manipulate the process. Gen. Reconciliation will never happen until there is less money to be made when in the goverment. As long as so much money can be stolen from the states coffers while serving in goverment (or power used to influence things for monetary gain) there will never be reconciliation as everyone wants to be in power and they will do anything (street protests / bombs / coups) to get there. They will gladly sacrifice their supporters and or inflict damage on others as long as they get a place in the goverment to increase their bank accounts. When people are that intent on getting money the stakes will stay too high to play nice . So until that changes (it won't) Thailand will keep in the same circle of violence, coups and other problems.
