rooster59
Running smoothly By Chalinee Thirasupa The Nation The “Sky Running” athletics track inside the air-conditioned Government Complex on Chaeng Wattana Road in Bangkok will motivate anyone to get fit, come rain or shine. Dubbed the country’s longest track of its kind, with a lap distance of 412 metres around the fourth floor of Ratthaprasasanabhakti Building (Building B), the three-lane running track is available for use any day, free of charge for both state officials and people in general. Moving along the rubber-paved tracks – one lane is for walking, the middle one for jogging and the third for running – you can ignore the traffic jams and the rain outside. The track is equipped with a system that measures how far you’ve gone and shows your individual results on the Sky Running phone application. There are also a locker room and restrooms. The project, built within its budget of Bt4 million and open since last October, was part of a vision of the building-management firm Dhanarak Asset Development to open more space for exercising. It is hoped to inspire and give people the chance to get fit and it will lessen traffic congestion around the complex, since many staff members will stick around to exercise while their colleagues are driving home. neeray
A nice idea but I have great trouble with this statement "for both state officials and people in general". Let's try this "the track is open to both government workers and the general public".
