PM advises detractors to stop reading newspapers for 5 days

Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha has an advice for people who dislike him. “Stop reading newspapers for five days,” he said, adding that they would start loving him after that.

Addressing a crowd of people during his visit to Ubon Ratchathani for mobile cabinet meeting on Monday, the prime minister said he himself has already stopped reading newspapers.

 

“If anyone criticizes me, I just punch him in the mouth,” he said but quickly added that he has never hurt anybody and, at the same time, has the right to protect himself against bullying.

We all should be allowed to defend ourselves against bullies.

I just had to stop posting on here for 5 days, now I love them... So it must work ?

Prayut said he had stopped reading newspapers, only reason for that is every news article is slating his pathetic performance as the so-called leader of Thailand.

I know.. he's going to enter that Tham Luang Nang Non cave in Chiang Rai and let everyone try to rescue him and thus love him all over again....

I'm surprised he has not shut all the newspapers 

down yet, or is that next weeks task.

It's not at all bullying, and it's not at all funny.

 

Don't get me started talking about rights.

It just gets worse and worse, doesn't it? More and more ridiculous. Talk about having totally lost the plot ...

No, that will be when OTHER political parties are allowed to start campaigning, which will be around 4 weeks before the ballot, sometime in 2023

I think they would want to instigate one here after being stitched up in the past.

The only plot he ever had was to overthrow a democratically elected government to enrich his own bank account, Honestly where do all these generals get all their money from not from their army salary I wager.

I think a classic movie line fits here.

Blame the media, a common theme in Trumps world. Perhaps we as people will revert to listening to village story tellers. Not sure how this is all going, but I know I don't like the direction it's headed.

Colin, that is a trick statement he is uttering, "the prime minister said he himself has already stopped reading newspapers". Here is the trick......He reads the newspaper news on smartphone. Just a case of semantics.

But I found this statement quite amusing too, “If anyone criticizes me, I just punch him in the mouth,". This is another case of the likeness between P M Prayut and Trump. Both like to talk like tough guys.

 

I advise Thais to stop reading Prayut forever.

I guess he was being bullied in 2010 when the 100 protesters were killed by the military, and Prayut was commander in chief...

Why don’t the newspapers tell the whole story, including the record low unemployment??
