Sick seven year old Karen boy airlifted to hospital

Thai media reported on the activities of the "Sky Doctor" service in Tak in Thailand's north west.

 

A man from the neighboring Karen State had carried his sick seven year old boy through the jungle for a day.

 

The Sky Doctor team attached to the Somdej Prajao Taksin Maharat Hospital were called as the boy was suffering from severe fever and seizures.

 

He was airlifted from Mae Jan sub-district to hospital on Tuesday.

 

Thai Rath said that the boy had been sick for ten days but his condition worsened three days ago with his father carrying him through the jungle into Thailand to seek assistance.

 

The boy is now under medical care in the Thai hospital.
