Ugh!! Beauty shop used super glue on woman's eyelash extensions

A beauty shop owner went on Facebook to warn the Thai public after a woman came to see her for repairs to her eyes.

Another shop had used what the Thais call "Elephant Brand Glue" or super glue to give her permanent eyelash extensions.

The glue had seeped into her eyelid and the base of the eye socket causing swelling and pain.

She virtually had her eyes stuck together by the glue, said the beautician on the Fara Beauty Salon page.

They said it was the worst case of malpractice they had seen, reported Sanook.

In a repair job a solvent was used to soften the glue and extract the extensions. But it took a long time as the glue kept re-hardening.

Many pictures were posted of the woman undergoing the repairs.

It will wear off. A bit of eye fluttering. Not to worry.

She went to another beauty shop to seek treatment?

Someone should let her know about this place called a hospital...

I hope this was reported to the police and not just on fb.

The original shop should be closed and forced to pay a reasonable compensation.

I suppose if it went to a popular vote she would win - the ayes have it.

What about the nose job, doesn't look perfect either.

Yeah, looks like a stitch up.

She could sniff some super glue to take care of that.

After six years here i still am surprised daily by the idiocy that goes on here.

Ah, the good old watsadu beauty parlor. Superglue for eyes and silicone for boobs, at a special price of 55baht plus 20 baht for the Somchai doing the contruction work. Deemaaakmaaak!!

This is a nightmarish story and superglue has always given me nightmares. I don't think I've used it once where I didn't stick one part of my body to another. Next time I have to remember to wear latex gloves and eye protection!

I notice her sitting BACK in the chair so the beautician can make sure the solvent goes right into the eye.

Really smart
