Can anyone recommend a suitable person to negotiate a settlement between my son(Australian) and his former partner (Thai). She has gone back to Thailand from Philippines with their 9 month old baby. The baby has Thai and Australian passports. She has threatened that he will never see the child again. Her behavior has been abusive, physical and threatening to my son and the baby and is causing him grave concerns for the child's wellbeing. He wishes to have custody.

I understand many have a similar story to tell but we would like to know if anyone has had dealings with a law firm they would recommend.

It depends on if you want an OZ or Thai lawer, or one who understands the civil court system or not.
